I’m excited to see how colour blocking has become so on trend – in bathrooms, feature walls, in lingerie, leisure wear, in the choice of dining chairs or a contrasting ottoman. There is so much scope here for making a bold colour statement.
Colour blocking has always been one of my favourite techniques. It’s an exploration of taking colours that are opposites on the colour wheel and pairing them together to make interesting and complementary colour combinations. Colour blocking is usually used in graphic shapes to create a striking impact and vibrant energy. I bring this practice to every aspect of my interiors.
For me, colour is medicine so I say, live boldly and have fun. Never be afraid to express yourself through colour.
