Two Ingredient Doughnuts

Ingredients list
- 1 cup of Greek yoghurt
- 1 ½ cups self raising flour
Extra ingredients
- Grapeseed oil, for frying
- Cinnamon sugar: combine ¼ cup of caster sugar with 1 tbsp of cinnamon
Method
- In a bowl, gently mix the yoghurt and self-raising flour until they come together.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Flour your hands and knead until the dough is soft and just combined. Avoid overworking it!
- Portion the dough into golf ball-sized pieces.
- Deep fry the dough balls at around 180°C (or slightly higher) for 3-4 minutes until golden.
- To serve, roll the doughnuts in cinnamon sugar.
Notes
- Use neutral oils for frying like vegetable, canola, or grapeseed
- The cinnamon sugar is optional but highly recommended!
