Mexican Burgers

Ingredients list
- 250g minced beef
- ½ packet of taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- 2 Tortillas – store bought
- Olive oil
- 2 handfuls of cheddar cheese – grated
- Tomato – sliced
- Avocado
- Shredded lettuce
- Fresh coriander
- Salsa
Method
- Generously season the minced beef with salt, pepper, and a taco seasoning mix.
- Roll the seasoned beef into small balls, then press each ball flat onto a tortilla.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place the tortilla with the beef side down into the pan. Press down lightly to cook the patty, frying for about 2-3 minutes.
- Once the patty is cooked, remove from the pan and top with grated cheese, tomatoes, avocado, shredded lettuce, fresh coriander, and tomato salsa.
- Fold the tortilla in half to form a taco-like shape. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lime juice for added flavour.
