High Protein rice

Prep: 5 mins | Cook time: 10 mins | Serves: 2 people for every cup of rice | Gluten free

Ingredients list

  • 1 cup of rice
  • 2 cups bone broth (2 cups for every 1 cup of rice)

Method

  • Rinse your rice and soak in water for five minutes to remove any excess starch.
  • Put in a pot with bone broth (ratio one cup of rice to 2 cups of bone broth) and simmer on low until cooked.
  • Allow to cool in the pot and then refrigerate to enjoy later!
Notes
  • You can use any type of rice you prefer
  • When you put the rice in the fridge and then reheat it – it becomes resistant to starch – which is much better for your gut.
