Cabbage Steak

Ingredients list

  • Half a green cabbage
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Pine nuts
  • Parmesan cheese

Dressing *optional

  • Greek Yoghurt
  • Lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180°C
  • Wash the cabbage with cold water and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • Season the Cabbage steaks generously with olive oil, salt, pepper, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Place the cabbage on a parchment lined baking tray and roast in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
  • After roasting, grate a little extra Parmesan cheese over the cabbage and enjoy
  • Optional Dressing: For a simple dressing, combine Greek yoghurt, lemon juice, and fresh parsley to add a touch of freshness.
