Ingredients list

  • 3 apples (sliced into thick disks)
  • About 1 cup of low-sugar peanut butter
  • 1 cup of chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or peanuts)
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate, melted for drizzling
  • Salt, to sprinkle

Method

  • Slice the apple into thick disks and remove the core to create a doughnut shape.
  • Spread each apple disk with peanut butter.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts over the peanut butter, then drizzle with dark chocolate.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of salt.
  • Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to set.
